Test Automation Engineer
We are looking for people who innovate and challenge the status quo. People that are doers, have fun, and love what it means to be a part of technology. Do you want to bridge gaps and automate everything? You have come to the right place.
We are seeking a talented Test Automation Engineer who is passionate about automation, quality code coverage, and ensuring the highest value for the business. As part of our team, you will work together with delivery professionals to build a robust test automation architecture and framework. You will also be responsible for translating the business needs into testing requirements, playing an instrumental role in increasing the ongoing quality and stability of the team’s work product. And how about the opportunity to do all that with a healthy work-life balance and a casual dress code?
What you will do:
Help define our path in test automation
Build testing frameworks to support our testing needs
Think outside the box to cover happy and unhappy path scenarios in developing test suites and exploratory test cases
Collaborate with build & release engineers to include automated tests in deployment pipelines
Work with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues
Define testing and specification documentation standards
So here’s what we’re looking for. First and foremost, we believe that what distinguishes a great team member from a merely adequate one is dedication to results, an ability to learn and adapt quickly, and professional integrity and humility -- not specific technical skills. But, of course, you’ll need those too.
Ideally, you would have a 4-year degree and 3 plus years of experience where you’ve demonstrated the following:
Ability to solve a broad range of problems using a wide array of technologies
Self-motivation and eagerness to learn
Ability to balance multiple concurrent tasks and projects, and adapt to varying priorities
Professional and open-minded attitude
Experience writing automated tests and automated test frameworks
Experience working in agile development environments – Scrum and Kanban preferred
Experience working in issue tracking tools such as Jira
Experience working within CI/CD technologies such as Jenkins and Azure DevOps
Experience building tests in all agile testing quadrants
Experience working in relational databases such as MS SQL
